Secret Mode celebrates eight nominations at the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2023

Secret Mode nominated for Best Publisher as A Little to the Left, Turbo Golf Racing, and Zool Redimensioned recognised

Leamington Spa, UK – 14 September 2023: Secret Mode is delighted to celebrate eight nominations at this year’s prestigious TIGA Games Industry Awards. Sumo Group’s internal publisher Secret Mode, founded in 2021, is nominated in the ‘Best Publisher’ category for the second year running after a hugely successful second year of operation.

This past year has seen the Early Access and Game Preview launch of Turbo Golf Racing from UK indie studio Hugecalf Studios, the PlayStation 4 release of Zool Redimensioned from the students of Sumo Digital Academy, and the release of wholesome puzzle sensation A Little to the Left, from Canadian indie team Max Inferno. All three titles are nominated in multiple categories.

Turbo Golf Racing, a fast-paced arcade-style sports racing game, is nominated for ‘Best Social Game’ and ‘Best Creativity in Games’. Developer Hugecalf Studios is also in the running for the ‘Best Small Studio’ award.

Zool Redimensioned, a reimagining of the iconc ’90s platformer, has two nominations to celebrate, in both the ‘Best Arcade Game’ and the ‘Heritage in Games’ award.

A Little to the Left, a cosy puzzle game about sorting household objects into pleasing arrangements, is also nominated for two different awards: ‘Best Puzzle Game’ (a category in which fellow Secret Mode title Eternal Threads was crowned victor during the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2022), and ‘Best Visual Design’.
