The Bottom of the Ocean – 2 December 2025: Come and get a pincer the action! Everything is Crab has returned from the primordial ooze to give evolutionary action roguelite fans another chance to try out the game ahead of its 2026 release.

Public Playtest 2 will feature over 90 evolutions to add to your amorphous blob, eight difficulty levels to keep things spicy, and a handful of new challenge runs to tackle, from surviving the Ice Age to throwing in way too many boss creatures. Don’t forget to share your stats at the end of each run, and grab a GIF of your weird little guy so you can show off your creation and have the whole world ask, “what the hell is that thing and why is it bouncing up and down?” 

Everything is Crab is a true evolution of the action roguelite genre, with each level up offering new upgrades that physically alter your character and affect how you interact with the environment. Kill and chomp everything in sight as an apex predator, become a social butterfly and gather an army of allied creatures into your pack, or go full pacifist and run/crawl/slither away from danger as you snaffle up leftover carcasses and fallen apples without ever throwing a single attack (maybe just stick to the apples if you’re playing a vegan build). Evolve your own way and prove you have what it takes to survive this weird and wonderful world!
