Instruments of Destruction, the explosive physics playground from legendary one-person developer Radiangames, is today smashing everything in its path to become a part of Secret Mode’s growing catalogue of independently published games.
Originally released on PC in May 2024, Instruments of Destruction is primarily the work of Luke Schneider, founder of Radiangames and former Lead Technical Designer on open-world destruction hit Red Faction: Guerilla. Instruments of Destruction sees you take on the role of a new member of Sharpe Industries, a company who specialises in one thing – building giant machines and using them to wreak havoc in a spectacular physics-based, highly-destructible world.
Take on 50 carnage-filled challenges in the main campaign using pre-built machines to complete a variety of increasingly tough tasks, before learning the ropes of demolition design in 25 Build & Destroy missions using your own custom-built vehicles. Then take all your experience into the Sandbox, where you’ll build your own mechanical monsters and cause chaos on customisable islands with a single objective: destroy!
This explosive news has set off a chain reaction leading to the launch of Instruments of Destruction on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year. Expect all the same content as the PC version – including full vehicle customisation – with optimisations for the target platforms.
