About this role
As the Senior HR Advisor you will be working with our people and line managers to provide expertise, advice and management information across a full range of generalist HR activities, whilst delivering against key initiatives to support the achievement of the HR strategy.
In this role you will
Contribute to the delivery of the HR strategySupport managers in ER casework, such as probation, performance management, appraisals, absence management, TUPE, grievance, remuneration and attending hearings. Coach and develop managers on company policy and best fit HR solutions. Act as a mentor to more junior members of the HR team. Contribute to the ongoing development of the wider team, sharing knowledge, learning and expertise. Be an advocate for continuous improvement throughout the business, assisting in policy, procedure, letters and management templates, ensuring they are fit for purpose and legally compliant. Conduct MI analysis on absence, leavers, starters, disciplinary and capability matters as well as other MI on an adhoc basis. Identify areas of improvement, opportunity and innovation and work with the HRM and members of the wider team to implement any agreed changes
To be successful you will have
Widespread HR advisory experience across a broad range of HR activities including, but not limited to: disciplinary, grievance, change management, absence and performance management within a fast paced and complex business. Ability to quickly build relationships and gain credibility with key stakeholders. CIPD Level 5 minimum is desirable, but we will consider applicants with relevant experience. Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks to ensure SLA's, deadlines and business milestones are achieved. Thorough understanding of HR processes, procedures and employment law. Ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality. Competency in interpreting and providing advice on employment legislation and conditions of service to ensure compliance and best fir advice.
